There are moments when some days are just not the best for many. However, in some relatable cases, it is the whole year that can be the most dreadful for them, and everyone in it is no exception.
In times like these, a helping hand is what is needed, especially for those who are most affected.
Having to be in the midst of regrouping and kick-starting what was left of the ruins of COVID-19, some communities around the Philippines have experienced yet another trial they need to overcome. Some of these are fire outbreaks in the particular provinces of Cavite, Zamboanga, Iligan, and Batangas. For a few, the terrors of being caught in a flood or typhoon were experienced, particularly in Cebu, Lanao Del Norte, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Bohol, and Tagbilaran.
Through the efforts of the diligent OPEC members, relief operations for fire, flood, and typhoon victims were given as a form of support and help for those in need. From the essentials needed, like food, water, clothing, medicines, and other forms of necessities, especially masks and alcohol, for lessening the spread of the COVID-19 virus, M Lhuillier was well-equipped and ready to wholeheartedly provide all these to all the victims of these aforementioned tragedies.
A highlight of what has transpired in this event is the cooperative that was organized by members of such initiatives that were present in this operation as well, through the ML SAKO COOPERATIVE from the province of Bohol, that proactively prepared 1,500 worth of rice, a staple in the daily food intake of fellow Filipinos, which is a great source of help in uplifting the spirits of those families in need. Another act of charity and generosity done by the M Lhuillier team is their donation of "Trapal," or a waterproof covering for the damaged houses of the communities or slum areas mostly affected by the typhoon, so they can continue to keep dry and warm as the said catastrophe ends.
A rough estimate was made by the M. Lhuillier team that they have provided assistance and aid to a total of 1600+ families that are widespread across the Philippines. With the affected individuals and families as their utmost priority, M Lhuillier was able to show the public that they can be a beacon of hope with a positive mindset and a "never-say-die attitude" for those who are struggling and guide those who were struck by these devastating situations.
M Lhuillier upholds the value and legacy of their patronizing clients and the mass public through providing genuine and authentic acts of service.
