In Talisay, Cebu, the team of OPEC Sawot supports the culminating activity of Flores de Mayo held at the Mother of Perpetual Church of Jaclupan where they give nutritious food packs to the kids. The "Piso Mo, Para sa Kaugmaon Ko" donation box, that was initiated by OPEC Lakbai, also serves its purpose as the amount gathered were fully shared to the community through a Feeding Program at Sitio Kampitlok, Brgy. Binabag, Bogo City, Cebu. The whole team also gave slippers and ML kits to the residents.
With the “Kusina ni M” initiative led by OPEC Bantangan, fifty (50) children with ages 7 years and below were given healthy and delicious meals, as well as giveaways from the group. They also conducted a film showing how to impart good moral and right conduct.
Even the littlest thing can create a big impact on someone’s life. Feeding programs are one of the activities that could be considered as simple yet significant especially for those who were able to receive.
