YADEA and M Lhuillier Bring Electric Mobility to Cebu

YADEA officially opened its doors in Cebu on Saturday, August 15, bringing its electric mobility products closer to Filipino riders through its partnership with M Lhuillier. The opening marks another step toward making electric transportation more accessible to Cebuano riders seeking practical, economical alternatives for their daily commutes. 

The grand opening brought together Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival, YADEA General Manager Nicolas Wang, and Overall Sales Director Troy Xu, alongside M Lhuillier Vice President Jude Millares, Chairman of the Board Michel Lhuillier, President and CEO Michael Lhuillier, and Joanna Lhuillier. Local influencers and riding personalities, including Marinong DJ, Jawo Motovlog, Island Nomad, Lumad Cebuano, Cebu ni Bai, and RamVin, also joined the celebration. 

For Mr. Michael Lhuillier, the partnership gives Filipino riders another option for everyday transportation, particularly as fuel and commuting costs continue to be a consideration for many Filipinos.

Mr. Nicolas Wang also highlighted YADEA’s commitment to expanding its presence in Cebu and making electric mobility more accessible to local riders. He emphasized that the partnership with M Lhuillier is part of the company’s long-term efforts to promote practical and sustainable transportation.

Adding excitement to the opening were live demonstrations of YADEA’s electric motorcycles, including the CL8 and EPOC. Led by Troy Xu, the demonstrations showcased the units’ performance and capabilities, including a highlight in which an electric motorcycle pulled a 3,500-kilogram track while carrying eight people.

With three YADEA locations now operating in Cebu, riders can visit the showrooms to explore the electric motorcycles and learn more about the benefits of electric mobility.
