The Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) Convergence 2026 brought together water district delegates from across the country on August 26 and 27 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. The two-day gathering provided an avenue for water districts, organizations, and industry partners to connect, exchange insights, and explore ways to improve services for their customers.
Adding energy to the event were various booths set up inside and outside the Waterfront Hall. Among them was M Lhuillier, where guests and invited personnel enjoyed the Electric Maze and took home exclusive M Lhuillier giveaways.
Beyond the activities, M Lhuillier highlighted how its Bills Payment service helps make settling water bills more accessible and convenient. Representing the company, Atty. Joyce Robin emphasized the value of having payment channels within communities.
“With the presence of M Lhuillier across the nation, yung nasa barangay and neighborhood lang, it’s easy for the people to settle their bills on time.”
With branches across the country and service available on weekends, holidays, and beyond regular office hours, customers have more opportunities to settle their bills. Payments can also be made through the M Lhuillier website, providing an option for those who prefer to pay from home or the office.
Atty. Joyce Robin also explained that M Lhuillier works closely with water district partners to meet their payment requirements and provide real-time payment reporting, helping customers avoid missed-payment issues.
“If ever hindi nakabayad yung person within the office hours, but beyond the office hours, then may malalapitan sila na hindi ma ngangamba na baka mapuputulan. sila.”
For M Lhuillier, participation in the PAWD Convergence is also an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and explore more Bills Payment collaborations. Atty. Joyce Robin highlighted the company’s wider range of financial services, saying, “We are diversified. When it comes to financial inclusion, it’s M Lhuillier.”
Meanwhile, Tony G. Tuzon, Board Director of Floridablanca Water District, shared why gatherings like PAWD Convergence are important to water districts.
“We want to gain more knowledge in terms of the operation so that we can provide better services to our constituents or our concessionaires.
As water districts and industry partners came together to share knowledge and build connections, M Lhuillier reinforced its commitment to creating partnerships that help make essential financial services more accessible, reliable, and convenient for Filipino communities.
