Donation Drive in General Santos City #
Later in the month, OPEC Tuna Generals focused their charitable endeavors to General Santos City.
One of the sectors most affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is education. With a directive from the Department of Education to suspend face-to-face classes until a vaccine is widely available, schools have had to shift to distance learning through online classes and modules.
OPEC Tuna Generals, led by President Robert Jake Gotubat, distributed Php 3,000 worth of bond papers to Ligaya National High School in Barangay Ligaya, Katangawan, General Santos City.
School principal Lalia Jubelag extended her gratitude for M Lhuillier’s continued support to education. The bond papers will be used by teachers to print out the learning modules for students with limited to no access to computers and the Internet.
